Turpin residence in the foothills of CarpinteriaSanta Barbara Contractors Association 2005 Award for Outstanding Craftsmanship by a Subcontractor The first pair of GluLam arches are installed.  The construction of the curved GluLam structure proceeds.  The last arch is filled in.  The completed mainframe is stood, the horizontal beams in progress.  The infill framing in progress.  The alignment is perfect.  Half inch thick laminations of Alaskan Yellow Cedar used in the curved GluLams.  The roof sheeting is almost completed.  The framing is completed to exacting tolerances. |
